COR Engine Metrics

The following are the exact components and calculations of the COR Engine:

Total Transactions

The total number of requests responded to by an oracle in the 10 minute snapshot window.

Job Completion Ratio

The total number of jobs completed versus incomplete within a 10 minute snapshot window. COR assesses incomplete jobs as strictly greater than 10 blocks without an oracle response to a request.

Average Gas Price

The average gas price specified per transaction by an oracle within a ten minute window.

Total Gas Price

The sum of gas prices specified by an oracle within a ten minute window.

Average Gas Used

The average amount of gas used per transaction by an oracle in a ten minute window.

Total Gas Used

The sum of all gas used in a ten minute window by an oracle in a ten minute window.

Average Response Time in Blocks

The average number of blocks an oracle has taken to respond to a request in a ten minute window.

Total Response Time in Blocks

The total number of blocks an oracle has taken to respond to a request in a ten minute window. For the purpose of data visualisation, the frontend is limited to displaying to total response time in blocks at 50 blocks.

Average Response Time in Seconds

The average number of seconds an oracle has taken to respond to a request in a ten minute window. This is calculated by finding the difference in the block timestamps of the log and transaction entries on the network.

Total Response Time in Seconds

The total number of seconds an oracle has taken to respond to a request in a ten minute window. This is calculated by summing the block total difference in block timestamps. Similarly for response time in seconds, the frontend limits the display to 700 seconds (assumption: 50 blocks x 14 second per block).
